Timbila Game Lodge

Timbila Game Lodge is a luxury lodge located in Limpopo, and 25 minutes from the Kurger National Park. Our private reserve is dominated by over a hundred Cape buffaloes, and predators roam — especially numerous leopards and hyenas.
Come explore a land teeming with wildlife: a rich variety of antelopes including sables, nyalas, massive kudus, waterbucks, bushbucks, oryx, wildebeests, and rarities like Sharpe’s Grysboks. You’ll also encounter giraffes, zebras, fish eagles, vibrant kingfishers, monitor lizards — and even the closest living relative of the elephant: the timbila, also known as the dassie, a charming creature reminiscent of European marmots.
